...and now for something completely different!!!
When I got "Tuva 2.0 For V3" (available from Mariny at Shattered- Elegance
[link] ) I instantly had this pic on my mind.
I hope you like my little agent experience...
Used toolchain: Poser 6/7 -> interPOSER(Ltd/Pro) -> Cinema4D V9.5 XL -> PhotoshopCS2
I especially am fascinated by the futuristic ones.
Ich danke dir.
Quick question: ...once you get the concept started in your mind...is there a fairly consistent amount of time on average to start and complete one of these?
The effort always depends of course mostly on the complexity of the scene.
I always try to get everything done in roundabout 9 hours:
- 3 hours character setup and posing
- 3 hours scene setup and lighting
- 3 hours postwork
The effort can shift between the three parts. Sometimes it is more character setup sometimes more postwork...
Your Target 9 hours...i think that's pretty good!
For me the Detail and playing with it to get it just right are so time absorbing
Yes...I find it disturbing how a day can melt away creating visuals.
I very much look forward to seeing more of your work!
Ich wunsche dir was!
Alles bestens.
Poser 6+7
Used for characters/outfits and posing, all this stuff will be exported obj-format.
Cinema4D V9.5 XL, Sketch+Toon, Hair, interPOSERPro
Importing the obj files into C4D, adding props and other stuff, building the complete scene, doing the material setup with all the nifty stuff from C4D's material room, modification of character and clothes, lighting and rendering. So the main work is normally done here. With the latest addition of interPOSERPro, even all the Poser-work can be done directly in C4D.
PhotoshopCS3
Used for the final touchup, correction, addtional details etc. All done with the help of a Wacom tablet
